It’s hard to think of what aspect of fashion and beauty I want to jump into first. There are so many factors that go into them. I think a good starting point would be some advice. My favorite part about fashion is the creativity that’s encouraged. No one person has the same mind, so why try and dress the same as someone else ? That’s my first piece of advice to you; be yourself. I know how cliche that sounds but, it’s so true. When you don’t dress for you, it shows. If you love your fire red rain boots or polka-dotted thigh highs, then wear them. Your clothes are people’s first perception of you. If you were born to stand out, show the world! In today’s society we’re expected to fit into the norms created for us. Your polka-dotted thigh highs may not fit into societies norms, but society will judge you regardless, so wear what YOU want! The first rule of fashion: be brave. Look at what designers showcase on the runway. I don’t see the average Joe strutting down 34th street wearing those outfits. Yet, these designers make a fortune off their clothing line and it’s because creativity inspires people, because one person had the guts to do it, so people followed. Point being, don’t be ordinary be extraordinary. My best advice would be; when it comes to fashion be a leader!
